After Care
1. When can I wet my lashes after the extensions?
You can’t get the lash extensions wet within 4-6 hours as the adhesive glue applied is not completely set. That means no swimming, showering, hot tubs, or steam rooms.
2. Can I use mascara or eyelash curler after extensions?
No, mascara causes the extensions to clump together and often contains oils to weaken the glue bond on your lashes. Also, do not use eyelash curler as it will damage your own lashes.
3. How do I remove eye makeup when wearing eyelash extensions?
Non-waterproof eyeliner and eye shadow are allowed to use when wearing eyelash extensions. To remove, gently use water based makeup remover with cotton tip. Do not use oil-based remover as it will weaken the adhesive bond on your extensions. Do not use makeup wipes as it usually snags and pulls on your extensions.
4. How to make my eyelash extensions last longer?
- Wash your lashes with foaming lash shampoo daily.
- Do not use mascara, eyelash curler.
- Do not use any oil based products around your eye area.
- Be gentle and really careful when rubbing your eyes.
- Do not pull or remove extensions by yourself as you will pull out your natural lashes.
- Do not perm or curl your lashes before or after eyelash extensions application.
- Pat them dry gently.
- Brush your lashes morning and night, especially after shower.
- Do not sleep on your stomach.
- Refill every 2 to 3 weeks.
